Plain-language version. This is a working draft to review with counsel before store submission.
These terms cover your use of the Coach Hans website and the early-access program. Coach Hans is a tool for alpine ski racing coaches and is in private beta now, ahead of the 2026-27 season. By using this site or joining the waitlist, you agree to what follows. Questions go to hello@coachhans.com.
Early access and the beta
- Joining the waitlist is a request for early access, not a guarantee of it. We let coaches in a group at a time.
- The app is pre-launch. Features, availability, and pricing are not final and may change before and during the beta.
- When you are granted access, the in-app terms shown at that time will also apply.
Use it the right way
- Use the site and the app for coaching, and keep what you enter about athletes to coaching context.
- Do not misuse the site: no scraping, no attempts to break or overload it, no using it to break the law.
- You are responsible for the accounts and devices you use to access it.
Answers are a tool, not the final word
Coach Hans gives grounded, sport-specific answers to help you coach. They are a starting point, not a replacement for your own eye, your certification, or the rules and officials who govern a race. You are responsible for the decisions you make on the hill and at the start house. Always put athlete safety first.
What you enter
You keep ownership of the questions, notes, and plans you enter. You give us permission to use that content to run and improve the app, as described in our Privacy policy. Do not enter anything you do not have the right to share.
Our materials
The Coach Hans name, the site, the app, and the coaching knowledge base behind it are ours or our licensors'. Early access does not transfer any of that to you beyond the right to use the product as intended.
No warranty during beta
The site and the beta are provided as is. We are still building, so expect rough edges, and do not rely on the app as your only source for a rule, a ruling, or a safety decision.
Limitation of liability
To the extent the law allows, Coach Hans is not liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from your use of the site or the beta. Nothing here limits anything that cannot be limited by law.
Changes
We may update these terms as the product moves from beta toward launch. If a change matters, we will update this page and, for material changes, let early-access coaches know by email.
